In a GLP-compliant study conducted in line with OECD 103, EU Method A.2 and EPA OPPTS 830.7220, the boiling point of (z)-3-hexenyl salicylate was determined using the Siwoloboff method. The boiling point of the substance was determined to be 303°C (577 K) at 101.325 kPa. As the study was performed to GLP and standardised guidelines, it was allocated a reliability score of 1 and considered to be the key study.

Supporting information is presented as a company product specification which reported the boiling point to be 271°C.
