Additional information

From the compositional description and the structural formula given, it is expected that the material would be stable in organic solvents. There are no functional groups present that would indicate that this material should be reactive or give rise to any instability under recommended storage conditions (below 60°C). This material is manufactured in organic solvents, which are necessary to stop the material from solidifying during its synthesis. Moreover, the material is formulated with other components in oil and is designed to be used in lubricants and to remain stable so as to maintain its functional performance; hence, it is not likely to degrade under normal working conditions or ambient conditions. This stability is furthermore confirmed by long term handling experience.
