Description of key information

The 96 hour LL50 in the OECD 203 acute fish toxicity study is >1000 mg/L (highest loading rate tested). This value was adjusted to account for the solvent oil content (40.8%) of the test material; therefore the LL50 value for EC 903-162-9 is >592 mg/L.

Additional information

The study used for fulfilling this endpoint for EC 903-162-9 is read across from an analogue material of EC 903-162-9. The justification for using this read across is provided in IUCLID section 13.

The study was conducted in accordance with OECD guideline 203 and to GLP standards. Water accommodated fractions (WAF) were used due to the limited solubility of the test item. This was considered the most reliable and environmentally relevant method of testing.

No test article related mortality occurred during the 96-hour period; therefore, the LL50 was > 1000 mg/L (highest loading rate tested). This value was adjusted to account for the solvent oil content (40.8%) of the test material; therefore the LL50 value for EC 903 -162 -9 is >592 mg/L.
