Additional information

Trimagnesium bis(orthophosphate), (EC 231-824-0. CAS 7757-87-1) is inorganic solid white powder. The substance has a melting point > 450°C and therefore a study for boiling point does not need to be conducted. The water solubility of the test material has been determined to be 0.048 g/l at 20 °C in un-buffered glass double-distilled water.

Overall, it can be concluded that Trimagnesium bis(orthophosphate) is not considered to possess any of the following hazardous physical-chemical properties: autoflammability and/or self-ignition, flammability, explosiveness and oxidising properties.

Thus, the substance does not meet the classification criteria for physical-chemical hazard in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) and the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
