No tests are available for photodegradation in air and photolysis in water. The hydrolysis of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate is fast, a half-life of 20 h at a pH of 7 is used in the assessment.

Sodium diethtyldithiocarbamate is readily biodegradable under aerobic conditions. No simulation tests are available.

Data on bioaccumulation and environmental distribution is lacking.
