Results and discussion

Details on results:
- Laboratory study: The percentage mortality of citrus nematodes after expopsure to 2.5 ppm of test substance in soil jars was 74%.
- Field studies: In tests made on microplots in the field in 1956, 100% of the citrus nematodes in the top 120 cm of soil were killed by 40 kg/acre of test substance. In tests during fall 1961 and spring 1962, no living citrus nematodes were found in the top 120 cm of soil 1 month after treatment with 116 kg/acre of test substance.
