Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
11 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
ca. 6.2
Details on results:
Result of the preliminary test: 9 mg/L
Conclusions:
The water solubility of 11 mg/L was measured at 20 °C and pH 6.2 for the test substance.
Executive summary:

The study was performed according to guideline A.6 for determination of water solubility, EG-guideline 92/69. In a preliminary test the water solubility was determined as 9 mg/L. Therefore, the shake flask method was executed. The test substance was weighted in three flasks and solved in water. The solutions were agitated for 24, 48 and 72 h at 30°C in and afterwards for 24 h at 20 °C. The test concentration was determined by HPLC-analysis. A water solubility of 11 mg/L was measured (mean value from 3 single values).
