Description of key information

(Q)SAR methods predict a vapour pressure of 2.22E-16 Pa at 25 deg C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The substance is a UVCB and a defined vapour pressure is therefore difficult to obtain. The gas saturation method of determining vapour pressure is not applicable because the result obtained could not to be representative of the whole substance. The effusion method by vapour pressure balance is not applicable as the method requires a drying step that could remove some volatile component(s) of the substance. The estimation method is not applicable because the method assumes the presence of a defined boiling transition temperature.

As vapour pressure cannot be determined experimentally (Q)SAR methods have been used to provide an estimate. The predicted vapour pressure is 2.22E-16 Pa at 25 deg C.
