Description of key information

The boiling point of the test item was determined in accordance with EU Method A.2. (Boiling Temperature). A boiling range of 100 - 105 degrees celsius was determined from the key study, with a decomposition temperature of >190 degrees celsius.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
100 °C

Additional information

For the chemical safety assessment, a value of 100 degrees celsius would be used when modelling exposure or assessing volatility. This would represent a worst-case scenario in accordance with the precautionary principle of chemical safety assessment.
