The dissociation constant of the substance Sorbitan C16-18 (even numbered) fatty acid esters, ethoxylated (1 - 6.5 moles ethoxylated)

was determined by QSAR calculation with SPARC (v4.6) for the single components. There is no dissociation in the environmental relevant pH range between 5 and 9, however for two out of four components tested, the values pKa > 13 were obtained. For two other components: C16 sorbitan monoester and C18 dianhydroglucitol diester, no dissociating properties were determined.
