Any other information on results incl. tables

The three calibration series and three test item series were measured. The partition coefficient Powwas determined based on a calibration curve using 6 reference substances.

The capacity factors k were calculated from the dead time and retention times of the reference substances. The log k data of the reference substances were plotted against their log Powvalues.

The equation of the curve fitted to the calibration points is as follows:

log Pow= 2.53 × log k + 1.89 (r2= 0.937)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The estimated log Pow is < 1.0.
Executive summary:

In the course of this study the partition coefficient (log Pow) of Sodium [(6-hydroxy-4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-7-yl)oxy]acetate was estimated using high performance liquid chromatography.

The estimated log Powis < 1.0.
