Any other information on results incl. tables

Three replicate tests were performed. The average of the measured data was reported.

The average relative self-ignition temperature of the test item was observed at 287°C.

The values of the replicate tests were 286.8°C, 285.3°C and 287.4°C, respectively.

Note: The normal definition of an ignition is where the temperature of the test item peaks at >400°C when the oven temperature is below this. For this study, the mean peak temperature of the 3 replicates was > 400°C and 2 of 3 replicates were >400°C; the third run peak was a few degrees below 400°C. The 3 ignitions are considered to be valid evidence for the self-ignition of the test item.
