Additional information

Predicted No Environmental Effect Concentrations (PNECs) have been calculated using the results of environmental toxicity tests and applying default assessments factors.

Conclusion on classification

No classification is triggered according to the criteria stated in Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. This is based on the toxicity data from acute tests in three aquatic aquatic compartments. The substance is readily biodegradable and there is no potential for the substance to persist in the environment.

Exposure assessment and risk characterization are not required for the environment as no hazard has been identified for the environment. Additionally the substance has no potential to cause toxic  effects if accumulated via food chain. Consequently there is no need to perform an assessment for secondary poisoning.
