Additional information

For the determination of the explosive properties of Tetradecylamine, one data is reported from a GLP guideline study (Ciric, 2015).

Tetradecylamine was demonstrated to be "non explosive" on the basis of its structure in a GLP-compliant study conducted in accordance with EU Method A.14, UN Test Series 3 and EPA OPPTS 830.6316 Method. This result is considered reliable without restriction (Klimisch 1) and is used as key value for the assessment.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Tetradecylamine does not contain any chemical groups associated with explosive properties. As a result, Tetradecylamine is regarded as non explosive and no classification is required.
