Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Does not significantly accumulate in organisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
10 dimensionless

Additional information

In contact with water the test substance hydrolyses rapidly. Hence, the bioaccumulation assessment is based on the hydrolysis product Phenylphosphonic acid (CAS 1779-48-2). In a study according to OECD 305C which was conducted by japanese authorities, a maximum experimental BCF of 10 was measured. Therefore, the test substance is not considered to accumulate significantly in organisms.
