Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The biodegradability of the test substance (respectively its hydrolysis products, since the substance hydrolyses rapidly in contact with water) was investigated in several guideline studies. The ready biodegradability was tested in a guideline study according to OECD 301C (conducted by japanese authorities) as well as in a study according to OECD 301E (BASF AG 93/0156/20/1, 1993). The studies revealed degradation values of 0 - 16% and 0% after an exposure duration of 28 days, respectively. In an inherent biodegradability study according to OECD 302B no DOC removal was detectable after 28 days of exposure. Based on these data, the test substance is considered to be poorly biodegradable and poorly eliminated from water.
