Description of key information

Neodymium tris(di-2-ethylhexylphosphate) does not have a melting point or boiling point and degrades in air from 230 °C to form neodymium oxide and phosphorus pentoxide.

Additional information

A Non-GLP experimental study, scored as Klimisch 2, is selected as a key study, and indicates that neodymium tris(di-2-ethylhexylphosphate) degrades in air from 230 °C to form neodymium oxide and phosphorus pentoxide.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the above data, neodymium tris(di-2-ethylhexylphosphate) does not require a classification regarding its thermal stability, neither under DSD, nor under CLP.
