Exposure controls / personal protection

The major work is control penal work controlling the manufacturing of the substance in closed system. All handling of substances is according to safety requirements. Only trained personnel (PPE).

All working methods must always be designed so that exposure by skin contact and, if applicable, by inhalation of the substance, is minimized. In addition, eye contact with the substance must be avoided. Closed or at least splash proof equipment should be used during filling, transfer and metered feeding as well as during sampling. In the case of handling in open systems, any dust that can form must be extracted directly at the point of origin. If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not possible or are insufficient, personal protection equipment should be worn. Adequate washing facilities should be available in the immediate vicinity of the work area and eye douches should be made available and their location indicated conspicuously. After skin contact, the affected parts of the skin should be cleaned thoroughly. Special skin-protection and skin-care measures are recommended. A skin-protection plan should be drawn up.

Personal protective equipment.

- Respiratory protection: Breathing only if aerosol or dust is formed.

- Half mask with a particle filter P1.

- Hand protection: Rubber gloves, solvent-resistant gloves (butyl-rubber), Nitrile-rubber gloves.

- Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles

- Skin and body protection: Long sleeved clothing.

- Hygiene measures: Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday.

Stability and reactivity

The substance hydroyses in contact with water / air moisture.

Disposal considerations
