Description of key information

Under the conditions of an experimental study performed according to the OECD 301A guideline under GLP conditions, the test item was found to be readily biodegradable with a percentage of biodegradation above 70% in the 10-d window (93.1% at 28 days).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable
Type of water:
freshwater

Additional information

The study is valid since:

Based on a biodegradation rate higher than 70% in 14 days (experimental value: 79.6 and 78.0 % in 1 day) in the reference control, the test was carried out under good conditions.

At the end of the test, the difference of extremes of replicate values of the removal of the test item was less than 20% (experimental value : about 4 %)
