Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In an acute aquatic toxicity test with Daphnia magna, no immobilisation has been observed. The EC50 is >100 mg/L and the NOEC (48 h) of the test has been determined to be 100 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance has been examined in an acute aquatic toxicity test with Daphnia magna according to OECD guideline 202. In the static dose-response test, daphnids have been tested with test substance concentrations of 6.25 to 100 mg/L for 48 h. After 24 and 48 hours of exposure, no immobilisation has been observed in the test substance concentrations up to 100 mg/L and in the control. The analytical measurement revealed a stable test substance concentration at test start and test end with concentrations between 80 and 120% of the nominal concentration. Therefore, the effect levels have been based on the nominal concentration. According to the results of the test, the EC50(48 h) has been supposed to be > 100 mg/L (nominal) and the NOEC (48 h) has been determined to be 100 mg/L (nominal).
