Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: pH not reported
Details on results:
The content of test item dissolved in the n-octanol sample was estimated to be 821 g/kg.
Conclusions:
The log Pow of the test substance is 5.7.
Executive summary:

Four methods are available for the determination of the partition coefficient (Pow) of the test item in accordance with EU Method A.8. Since the test item is surface active, the shake-flask method and HPLC method are not applicable. Calculation method could not be applied since the test item is a UVCB. Based on this, it was decided to use the estimation method for the determination of the Pow. The Pow value of the test item at 20°C was 4.8E5.It corresponds with a log Powvalue of 5.7.
