Description of key information
The substance cyclododecanol tel quel represents a reaction mass consisting of cyclododecanol and cyclododecanone. No studies regarding repeated dose toxicity are available for the reaction mass. Only a 28 day rat oral repeated dose toxicity study is available for the substance cyclododecanol, which represents one component of the substance cyclododecanol tel quel. No relevant adverse effects were found for cyclododecanol in this study and the NOAEL is 1000 mg/kg bw day, which represents the highest tested dose.
