Description of key information

A Daphnia Acute Immobilization Test (48 hours) was performed in order to examine the the short- term aquatic toxicity to invertebrates of the test substance. An EC50 value of > 500 mg/L was obtained.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A Daphnia (daphnia magna) Acute Immobilization Test (48 hours) was performed  similarly to OECD 202 guideline with the test substance using the following concentrations: 0, 62.5, 125, 250, and 500 mg/L. Under the test conditions the EC50 value (48 h, immobilization) obtained was > 500 mg/L (BASF 1989).
