Description of key information

With high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The long term toxicity on aquatic invertebrates was investigated in a reproduction study on Daphnia magna according to OECD guideline 202 part 2. The substance was suspended in the test medium without dispersant. There were no test article related effects on survival of the parental Daphnia and no significant inhibition of reproduction at any of the concentrations tested. Hence, the respective NOEC corresponds to the highest concentration in the test of nominal 2.2 mg/L with average measured concentrations of 0.425 mg/L. Therefore, the substance caused no long term toxicity in the range of water solubility.
