Additional information

In the key study, the density of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 109, using an oscillating densimeter. Under the conditions of the study the density of the test material was determined to be 1.184 g/cm³ at 20 ± 0.5 °C. The study was conducted to agreed protocols and was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable as an accurate reflection of the test material.

Supporting information is available in handbook data; the density of the test material is reported to be 1.20 g/cm³ at 20 °C as cited in the literature. This value is in good agreement with the study result. Due to it not being possible to assess the accuracy of the information, the data were assigned a reliability score of 4 in accordance with the criteria of Klimisch (1997).
