It is thought that the change in test substance consistency (from a yellow powder to a brown liquid) upon contact with the ignition source or upon standing in an oven at 100°C is not the result of a straightforward melting process, but of thermal decomposition.

Because of ths change in consistency of the test substance, the flammability at 100°C could not be determined.
