Conclusion on classification

The substance is not readily biodegradable. The available read across data indicate no acute aquatic toxicity. All L(E)C50 values are > 100 mg/L (fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae). Valid read-across data on chronic toxicity are available for algae and aquatic invertebrates. The determined NOEC values are clearly above 1 mg/L. Therefore, Reaction mass of dipotassium 2-(3,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) succinate and dipotassium 2-(4,5-dimethy-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) succinate does not meet the criteria for classification and labelling for acute or chronic toxicity according to the consolidated version of the Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) and further amendments.
