Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of the test material was determined to be between 280 °C and 290 °C.

Description of key information

Autoignition temperature: 280 °C - 290 °C (EU method A15)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
280 °C

Additional information

Bolzonella (2011) determined that the autoignition temperature of the substance was 290 °C ± 10 °C using EU method A15. The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 290 °C. At a temperature of 280 °C, no ignition was observed. For the purpose of the "key value for chemical safety assessment", the lower value of 280 °C has been used.
