EXPERT STATEMENT

A test substance is considered explosive when it can react to produce very rapid increases in temperature or pressure.

None of the components of the test substance does contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties. The test substance contains approximately 8% unknown components. It is assumed that these components do not affect the properties of the test substance.

In conclusion,Sodium Lauroyl Isethionatehas no explosive properties.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
In a GLP expert statement it was concluded that the substance has no explosive properties as it lacks structural alerts. In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the explosive properties study (required in 7.11) was not performed.

Description of key information
