Results and discussion

Boiling point
Boiling pt.:
>= 300 °C
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
>= 300 °C
Remarks on result:
other: The endotherms at 30 to 40°C were consistent with the melting temperature of components of the test substance. At approximately 300°C, there was a broad endotherm, immediately followed by a large exotherm, indicative of decomposition of the test substance

Any other information on results incl. tables

The endotherms at 30 to 40°C were consistent with the melting temperature of components of the test substance. At approximately 300°C, there was a broad endotherm, immediately followed by a large exotherm, indicative of decomposition of the test substance. At the end of testing, a dark brown residue remained in the crucible.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The boiling temperature of T-1640L was not determinable, as the test substance decomposed
at temperatures above approximately 300°C without boiling.
