The toxicity of propoxylated palm oil to Daphnia magna after 48 hours was assessed. A NOEC and EC100 of 52.2 and >52.2 mg/L respectively were determined. The test substance is not toxic to aquatic organisms at the limit of solubility.
Executive summary:

The short term toxicity of propoxylated palm oil (CAS number 512802-65-2) was assessed using Daphnia magna over a 48 hour period. The study was conducted according to OECD 202 Guideline (version 1984), and according to GLP. Exposure concentrations were not measured in the test and some study details are limited, therefore the study is rated as a Klimisch 2, however the study is considered reliable. Seven exposure concentrations were assessed, in addition to controls ranging from 6.38 to 52.20 mg/L.

After 48 hours, no immobilisation was observed in any of the test concentrations. The NOEC and EC100 of 52.2 and >52.2 mg/L were provided. An EC50 of >52.2 mg/L is calculated, however the test substance is not toxic to aquatic organisms at the limit of solubility.
