Allyl alcohol is a liquid and its flammability has been determined from its flash point.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the flash point of 21degrees C and a boiling point of 97.4 degrees C for allyl alcohol, the classification of allyl alcohol is concluded to be:

- under Directive 67/548/EEC criteria, R10

- under Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP GHS) criteria, flammable liquid category 2.

- under UN GHS criteria, flammable liquid category 2.
