The distribution data generated using the Fugacity level III model of EPIWEB 4.1 indicates that amides, C16-18 (even-numbered) and C18-unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) is likely to partition to soil (75%) and water (24%) and to a less extent to sediment (1%) and air (0.1%).However, since the substance is readily biodegradable and the mammalian toxic kinetics data shows the substance to have a low bioaccumulation potential as well as a low BCF value, it can be assumed that amides, C16-18(even-numbered) and C18-unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) is not persistent or bioaccumulative in the soil or in other environmental compartments.

Furthermore, the low vapour pressure (0.268 Pa) together with Henry’s coefficient of 9.32x10-7Pa-m3/mole and the present distribution data from the Level III fugacity modelling indicates that the substance has a low potential to distribute to the atmospheric compartment.
