Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The LC50 at 96 hours was 8.6 mg/L.
Executive summary:

The test substance was performed to obtain the acute toxicity to the rainbow trout. The test was under semi-static conditions and according to the PECD Guideline 203. The LC50 was 8.6 mg/L during 96 hours. The highest test concentration resulting in 0% motality was 6.2 mg/l and the lowest test concentration resulting in 100% moratility was 12 mg/l. The no observed effect level was 6.2 mg/l.

All results are based on mean measured concentrations. Values obtained ranged from 80 to 94% of nominal (mean value 86%) at 0 and 72 h (fresh media) and fresh media) and from 37 to 79% of nominal (mean value 57%) at 24 and 96 hours (expisred media).
