Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity to zebra fish was determined in a 96-hour semi-static test with daily test medium renewal. The substance was tested over a range of concentrations achieved by dilution from a supersaturated stock solution. Analysis showed that, at the highest dose level, the maximum concentration achieved was 0.172 mg/L, and the mean measured concentration was 0.09 mg/L. The NOEC is based on this mean measured concentration. The solubility of the substance in the test water was determined to be 0.0008 mg/L. The test was performed under light protection to prevent loss by photo-degradation. No toxic effects were observed in any of the test or control replicated. Care should be exercised in the interpretation of these data, since the substance was tested at levels above the water solubility. In the control and all test concentrations, all fish survived until the end of the test and no signs of intoxication were observed. Therefore, the substance can be classified as non-toxic to fish up the limit of its solubility, namely 0.0008 mg/L.
