Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The logPow of the substance is greater than 4.7.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow) was determined by the shake flask method according to EC Directive, Part A, Methods for the determination of physical-chemical properties, A8: "Partition Coefficient".The solubility of the test substance in water is 18 mg/l and the solubility in n-octanol is greater than 1000 g/l. Therefore, the estimated partition coefficient (log Pow) is greater than 4.7 and the HPLC method should be used. However, the test substance could not be retained on C8- or C18- analytical columns and therefore, the HPLC method could not be used.

The logPow of the substance is greater than 4.7.
