The test substance showed no signs of explosive properties under the test conditions.

Additional information

Based on the thermal sensitivity test (Koenen steel tubes), the tubes were recovered unchanged. Based on the mechanical shock test (BAM fall hammer test), there were no signs of ignition or explosion on impact and the test assembly could not be dismantled. Based on the mechanical friction test (BAM friction test), where there were no signs of ignition or explosion and a dark mark on the porcelain peg and plate indicated decomposition.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Considering the information available on the substance, no classification for explosivity is required with respect to Regulation No. (EC) 1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC.
