In the animal studies using various species (rat, frog, dog,
monkeys), EVE did not significantly change blood pressure,
Electrocardiogram (ECG), Electroencephalogram (EEG), blood
urea, carbon dioxide combining power. There was no
hemolysis. Clotting time was increased by 10-15%. Liver
function was normal, and there were no pathological changes
noted in liver and kidney.
