Description of key information

The effect of aspartic acid, N,N'-[methylenebis(2-methyl-4,1-cyclohexanediyl)]bis-, 1,1',4,4'-tetraethyl ester towards seedling emergence and seedling growth of terrestrial plants was tested according to the OECD Guideline No. 208 (ECT Oekotoxikologie GmbH, 2009b) yielding the following results:
NOEC (14 d): >= 100 mg a.s./kg (Allium cepa, Avena sativa, Brassica napus)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for terrestrial plants:
100 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

The test item had no adverse effects on seedling emergence and growth of higher plants at concentrations up to and including 100 mg a.s./kg soil dry mass.
