Description of key information

With the shake-flask method a logPow of 2.42 was determined at pH 7. (Monsanto 1980)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

At pH 7, MBT dissociates strongly with only ca. 50% remaining undissociated. The logPow determined at pH 7 representing a more realistic case and is used further for PBT and chemical safety assessment.
