The substance is readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria).

N,N-bis(3 -aminopropyl)methylamine is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria as determined in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 301B (CO2 evolution test). The inoculum was activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant treating predominantly municipal sewage. The substance was degraded to 82% after 28 d, keeping the 10 -d window (BASF SE, 2012; report no. 22G0435/11G157).
