The hydrolytic half-life was estimated using the HYDROWIN v2.00 module of EPI Suite v4.10 (BASF SE, 2012). Based on the estimated half-life of 2-ethylhexylchloride (CAS 123 -04 -6), the substance is regarded to be hydrolytically stable at environmentally relevant conditions.
