Conclusion on classification

Short-term aquatic toxicity data are available for three trophic levels (fish, invertebrates and algae). In these three acute toxicity studies, no effects were seen up to the maximum water solubility of 0.202 mg/L. In addition, there are two reliable long-term toxicity endpoints available for invertebrates and algae. The lowest chronic toxicity value (NOEC = 0.0314 mg/L) is below the water solubility of the substance. The substance is not readily degradable and has a Log Kow of 4.42. Based on this information, the substance needs to be classified as Aquatic Chronic Cat. 1 (H410) with an M-factor of 1, according to EU CLP (EC no. 1272/2008 and its amendments: Table 4.1.0, (b) i ).
