Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The Surface Tension of 2-Phenylsuccinic Acid is determined as 57.5 mN/m ± 0.1 mN/m at test temperature (20 ± 0.5 °C).
Executive summary:

The Surface Tension of 2-Phenylsuccinic Acid was determined by ring method at 20 ± 0.5 ºC. The solution thus formed was allowed to equilibrate at the test temperature (20 ± 0.5 ºC) using constant temperature water bath. Three aliquots of the 1% w/v aqueous solution of 2-Phenylsuccinic Acid in analytical grade water were prepared. The average corrected surface tension value obtained from the three aliquots of the 1% w/v aqueous solution is reported as the surface tension of 2-Phenylsuccinic Acid. The corrected surface tension of 2-Phenylsuccinic Acid is determined as 57.5 mN/m (± S.D. = 0.1) at test temperature (20 ± 0.5 °C).
