Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
no
Conclusions:
It is concluded that the acute aquatic toxicity to microorganism prediction for 2-Propenenitrile, reaction products with 1,3-benzenedimethanamine is Not classified based on EC50 >=130 mg/L .
Executive summary:

The following conclusions could be made about acute aquatic toxicity to microorganisms ofCAS 90530-16-8constituents:

·        Observed data for acute aquatic toxicity to microorganisms was found only for1,3-Benzenedimethaneamine;m-xylylenediamine(CAS: 1477-55-0);

·        According to theGerman water hazard classes1,3-Benzenedimethaneamineis classified as hazard to waters;

·        No observed data for constituents A, B, C, D and E were found in the six databases with ecotoxicological information included in QSAR Toolbox 3.3.5 and in the web sources;

·        The effect (EC10; EC50; EC90) of Constituent A, B, C, D, Eon the growth ofPseudomonas putidaover a 16 hours period was estimate by Toolbox data gap filling read-across aproach. The results are summarised inTable 3.

·        No thershold is available for toxicity to microorganisms. Based on the predictions results it could be concluded that constituents A, B, C and D are less toxic than1,3-Benzenedimethaneamine(MXDA).

·        It is concluded that the acute aquatic toxicity to microorganism prediction for2-Propenenitrile, reaction products with 1,3-benzenedimethanamineisNot classifiedbased on EC50 >=130 mg/L.
