Additional information - workers

No DNEL has been derived for workers.

The substance is an UVBC inorganic substance used as mineral additive in the manufacturing of concrete and cementitious materials. The substance is produced under rigorously controlled conditions and used only by industrial and professional workers under conditions leading to not significant human exposure and environmental releases; it is incorporated in construction materials (concrete and cementitious products), not releasing the substance during their service life and the waste stage. Based on the exposure assessment, it is concluded that the estimated exposure levels ofReaction products of metal-free bottom ash from municipal solid wastes incineration with water and with or without limedo not pose any unacceptable risk to human health and the environment.

Additional information - General Population

The substance is produced under rigorously controlled conditions and used only by industrial and professional workers under conditions leading to not significant human exposure and environmental releases; it is incorporated in construction materials (concrete and cementitious products), not releasing the substance during their service life and the waste stage. Itis not sold directly to consumers; no exposure for consumers during the service life of construction materials is foreseen.
