A substance fulfils the bioaccumulation criterion when the bioconcentration factor (BCF) is higher than 2000 L/Kg. In the absence of experimental data for Fyrolflex BDP, the estimation of BCF was determined using the BCFBAF program included in the EPI suiteTMv 4. The calculation was made using the experimental value for the Log Kow of Fyrolflex BDP, which is 4.5.
The calculated BCF is 67.7 L/kg, indicating no predicted risk for bioaccumulation of the substance in the aquatic environment.
