Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Remarks on result:
other: Concentration of Al of a 90% saturated aqueous solution of test item.

The surface tension of an aqueous solution of Silicic acid Aluminium Magnesium Sodium Salt was determined as 72.22 +/- 0.07 mN/m at 20.0 °C.

One measurement was performed for verification (after 98 minutes). No significant changes and thus no significant depend-

ence on time was observed.

As these values were higher than 60 mN/m, Silicic acid Aluminium Magnesium Sodium Salt was classified as not surface active.

The surface tension of the negative control lay within the accepted range.

The aluminium concentration of the 90 % saturated test solution was determined by measurement via ICP-OES with 31.74 µg/L.

Conclusions:
Silicic acid Aluminium Magnesium Sodium Salt was classified as not surface active.
