Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The determination of the water solubility was performed by the shake flask method according to EU test method A.6 OECD test guideline 105 and GLP. No deviation from the guideline was observed during the test.

In the study, it was not possible to obtain a saturated test item solution. Indeed, with increasing amount of test item a gel was formed.

So the main test could not have been performed at it is specified in the guidelines that "About five times the quantity of material determined in the preliminary test to saturate the desired volume of water is weighed into each of three glass vessels fitted with glass stoppers (e.g. centrifuge tubes, flasks").

The water solubility was determined based on the preliminary test results.
