Further test with terrestrial organism are not necessary as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The chemical safety assessment does not indicate the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or degradation products on terrestrial organisms. In addition, Studies on the short-term aquatic toxicity show that morpholinium sulphamate do not have adverse effects. As the substance is mainly present in the aquatic compartment (very low log Pow, high water solubility) test on aquatic species are sufficient for hazard assessment. No severe effects on terrestrial organisms are expected. In conclusion, no further tests on terrestrial organisms are required.
